Description
"New Life"...
I offer postal discount on multiple purchases...This has been play graded.
Loads more great albums to be listed..So..View My Other Items For Sale
This is by a Salvation Army group!..It's NOT your typical Christian LP..It's got a garagey/60's sound to it,the solo guitar work is first class as are the vocals (everyone sings, including the drummer)..All the songs are strong (even the cover of "Kum By Ya"!) and well constructed..The lyrics are more philosophical than religious preaching..
Line up of the group is 2 guitars, bass, drums and female backing singer..
It really is a cracking album..I have done a sound clip of the first track...See what you think!..I am going to start this higher than I normally do,but if it does not sell,it will be re listed with my usual £4.99 start.
It's seriously hard to find..This is the first spare copy that I have turned up since I found my copy over 15 years ago!..
Issued on BBC records in 1972..RESR 29s..UK pressing..It was made for BBC Religious Broadcasts To Schools..(Well they never played music like this to me in my religious classes!)..
Play grade on this is EX+..It's a clean playing record with no clicks or pops and a bright, undistorted sound....
Visually, the disc comes in as EX++ as it is clean and undamaged with no scratches or scuffs..Still with a nice sheen as well..
The labels are undamaged and there is minimal spindle wear..
The front laminated sleeve is EX++ with only light signs of wear or handling..
There are no rips, seamsplits, tears, scribble, sellotape or tape marks..There is minimal dischape/cornerwear or edge rubbing..The colours are bright and unfaded, the spine is undamaged with clearly legible text..
UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or collect it from The Southend Record Fair (10th February)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...Venue for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB..
Check it out on Facebook (Southendrecord).
