On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Gordon Beck Trio called "Gyroscope" and is a SERIOUSLY rare 1968 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Morgan label!!!  THIS LP IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE RAREST UK JAZZ LPS EVER!!!!  IT WAS PRESSED ON THE VERY SOUGHT AFTER MORGAN LABEL AND ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED COVER AND THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN STUNNING CONDITION AND PLAYS ABSOLUTELY SUPERBLY!!!!  THERE ARE SOME VERY QUIET PASSAGES ON THIS LP AND THE MAIN CHALLENGE WITH AN LP LIKE THIS IS FINDING A 1ST PRESSING THAT PLAYS QUIETLY.  BUT THIS ONE DOES!!!!  IT PLAYS ABSOLUTELY SUPERBLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY VERY QUIETLY INDEED!!!!  THERE IS BARELY ANY CRACKLE AT ALL (MOSTLY ABSOLUTELY NONE), AND EVERY NOTE ON THE LP ALSO PLAYS IN CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND QUALITY AND THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE ON AN LP LIKE THIS ONE!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST UK JAZZ LPS EVER - AND TO FIND ONE THAT PLAYS (AND LOOKS) LIKE THIS ONE DOES IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  ARTISTS FEATURING ON THE LP ARE:- GORDON BECK, JEFF CLYNE, AND TONY OXLEY.  THIS IS THE 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS MORGAN LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' PATENT PENDING COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is Morgan MJ 1 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Morgan label (see picture) and is a 1968 Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light NON sounding scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear (NOT through the colour), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), and NO grubbyness!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
