The Gow started in Turin in 1980 with guitarist Mauro Giuliani and bassist / singer Cosimo Fusco.Il their debut came in 1982 with the single  "Vincerò .
Subsequently, the band featuring bassist / vocalist Cosimo Fusco, guitarists Mauro Giuliani and Marco Trivelli and drummer Pino Farinella, decides to adopt the English language. In 1983 the 45 "This is love for my friends / I'm ready for the Shirak Records got great critical acclaim, even from the British magazine Kerrang (no small feat at the time for an Italian band).
Meanwhile replication band's success with the release of "Mr. Tippel "(published by Shirak Records), a mix excellent songs hard rock and metal. They also filmed a video clip for the song "Imagination" .In 1985, the training becomes a quintet with the arrival of new singer Danny Donato and affects the 45 "Fire / Headbanger" (ranked first in Greece). Shortly after Pino Farinella leaves the band and is replaced by Elvin Betty, son of their manufacturer. The sound proposal turns into the glam-metal and the group produces the acclaimed demo "Power of the Night" earning acclaim and a few appearances on TV. On the live front stands a mini-tour of four Italian dates Vanadium company, Strana Officina and others. 1987 sees the release of the demo "Xxx", which opens up interesting opportunities like that to play at the Monsters of Rock with Halloween and Gamma Ray. Then appeared in concert live on Radio Rai and participate with the song "I want it now" in the compilation "Metal Mania"  Later  that year, Gow toured Europe with Black Sabbath. Then later toured with Saxon in 1988. Great metal band from Italy of all places however as good as they were they never had a chance. GREAT ALBUM FOR THOSE WHO LOVE FINDING OBSURE RECORDS OF UNKNOWN BANDS.
