Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Some Other Stuff," by Grachan Moncur, III, featuring Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Cecil McBee, and Anthony Williams. See pictures for song list. This was released by Blue Note Records (BLP 4177). LP is VG+, with light scuffs and several small light scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and pops) with no skips. LP retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Interior labels have "New York USA" in the address. The address on the back of the jacket reads 43 West 61st St., New York 23. There is an etched ear and "Van Gelder" is stamped in the matrix on either side. This LP still sounds great - this is a really nice copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. All seams and corners show wear. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is scuffing on the front of the jacket. The number "4177" on the back has light pencil marks around it (see pictures). The front and back retain a nice gloss.
