Description
Here is a pair of 12” LP acetates containing sessions that Grady Tate recorded recorded in April of 1970 at Finetone Studios in Manhattan. One of them has unedited outtakes from the After the Long Drive Home LP, while the other appears to be the finished, mastered product. The outtakes disc includes two terrific alternate vocal takes of the album's title track, an unedited version of “Bridges” that goes on for almost a minute after the fadeout on the LP (you can hear Grady cracking up at the end), and a great instrumental version of "In My Time." It's a fascinating artifact. Both discs are VG+ with some light surface wear and some crackle on playback. Listen below:
