GRAND FUNK: SHININ' ON 1974 UK PROMO LP ON CAPITOL Cat No. SWAE-11278
Here is a very rare UK white label promo or test pressing of this great 1974 album. This version isn't listed on Discogs, and as far as I can tell has only been offered for sale once previously on eBay.
As with the standard issue LP, the record comes complete with 3D glasses. These have been unpicked from the sleeve front, but will easily slot back into the cut-out. The detachable tabs were removed by a previous owner so that the glasses would fit over the nose. The outer sleeve itself is a 3D design, and also present is the original 3D poster in nice condition. Finally, there is the printed inner sleeve with album info on one side and tour / fan club details on the other.
CONDITION OF VINYL The vinyl looks in great shape, with only very light marks and fine lines. It has clearly not been played too many times. On test it plays really nicely with no noticeable issues. The white labels each have some very faint staining, but this is only apparent on very close inspection. Overall vinyl grade is EX.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE etc The outer sleeve has some light wear and creasing but is generally in nice order. I would grade this as VG+. The fold-out poster is EX. The 3D glasses, due to some creasing are VG. The printed inner is VG+.
