Description
Grant Green - Grant's First Stand
Blue Note - 4064 (1961)
Rare and hard to find mono first pressing of this LP with W. 63rd st label and RVG stamped in deadwax.
Vinyl is in VG+ condition showing a few light hairline scuffs and marks. By the look of the label and spindle hole most of these came from being in contact with the paper sleeve. Vinyl has full gloss and looks to have been played very little.
Labels and spindle hole are in Near Mint condition, showing virtually no sign of any wear or play (see close-up photo).
Cover is VG+ condition, and shows only light wear and some rubbing at one corner. No marks, writing, split seams or other issues.
Original Blue Note inner sleeve is in VG condition showing only some light wear at the edges.
We know from past experience that postal delivery people will tend to bend cardboard record mailers in an attempt to get them to fit into boxes. To avoid any potential damage to this rare LP it will be shipped in a sturdy box within a sturdier box, outside of the cover with cardboard filler pads for protection.
