Description

TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing a few more old and rare 45's today before I get to more EP's and LP's, so if you have interest please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This early and rare 45 and picture sleeve combo (the very first of only three picture sleeves released of this group) is by the very popular Rob Grill created group, The Grass Roots, from 1967. The collectible picture sleeve is in very good overall shape and the vinyl is nearly perfect. Plus, as a "throw-in", I have even included an original Dunhill Records company sleeve. The hit 45 is entitled "Things I Should Have Said/Tip Of My Tongue", and is in extremely nice, near perfect shape - but please read on, see all the pictures above, and judge everything for yourself.  I have also listing other "oldies" 45's and EP's this week as well, so feel free to check them out, too.  LABEL INFO: This original, Dunhill Label (4094) - before they became ABC-Dunhill - is extremely clean and nice - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also very shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any flaws in need of a mention at all - in my opinion, it appears to be almost "like new". PICTURE SLEEVE: The attractive picture sleeve is also in great overall shape, although not quite perfect. There are a few mostly uneventful wrinkles and/or crease lines in a few places, but in my eyes anyway, this is nothing serious at all (but again, please see pics above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this record and picture sleeve combo are both very clean and nice, so please have at it. As always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
