WHO AM I?

I am a musician, audiophile and fanatical record collector—someone who loves music more than life itself! Having amassed thousands of records, the time has come to consolidate and return some of these well-loved albums to circulation. I have been a member of eBay since 1999 with a consistent 100% rating so you can be assured of my honesty and integrity. All records listed for sale are from my personal collection and are play-graded for complete satisfaction (for more on grading, see below). As a fellow record collector, I want you to be completely happy with your purchase.

HOW I GRADE RECORDS:

Very conservatively! Please carefully read the following definitions and bid with confidence:

SS - Still Sealed - The record is assumed to be in Mint condition, as it is has not been opened.  I will explain any cut-outs, hole punches, notches, shrink wrap tearing or any type of damage (such as creasing, bent corners, etc.).

NM - Near Mint- Cover/Sleeve is beautiful.  If the LP cover does not have shrink wrap,it has high gloss and little or no bumping of the corners; only the slightest signs of wear/handling.  The record shows very little signs of play/wear,if any at all; as close as it gets to just being opened.  Only a few Records/Covers will receive this grade, as it should rightfully be rarely used!

EX - Excellent - LP covers may contain some noticeable corner bumps and possible scuffing, and 45 sleeves may contain some light bends/creases.  The LP covers may contain hairline creases.  Slight ringwear may be evident for the LP covers. The record shows light signs of play and/or wear.  May have light scuffs and/or very minimal, light surface scratches/marks.  It is a very nice record for listening and/or collecting.

VG+ - Very Good Plus – This is the most common grading for records that have been handled with care but listened to and enjoyed.  LP covers may have some creasing and/or more corner bumps/rubs/bends.  The cover’s spine may show some flaking and some noticeable ringwear could be present.  The 45 sleeve may have slight tears and/or creases in it and possibly some slight splits.  This is a nice record that has been carefully handled and kept. There will be signs of wear on the record, and it will likely have scuffs and/or surface scratches/marks.  It should give an enjoyable (if imperfect) listening experience.

VG - Very Good
- The LP cover may contain quite noticeable ringwear and/or creasing and some seam splitting could be present.  Also, flaking could be more evident, along with some possible discolorations from time-to-time, but nothing that would severely deface the cover.  The 45 sleeve may contain tears, seam splits and/or creases, but the sleeve should still be intact for the most part and look respectable. The record may contain a good amount of surface scuffs/scratches, but there should be no ‘feeler’ scratches to cause skipping.  There very well could be surface noise, but it should never overpower the music and only most evident in the quiet passages of the record.

G : Good condition - Good does not mean bad! A record in Good condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping but it will have a significant amount of surface noise, with audible scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seam splits and tape, writing, significant ring wear and other defects that will start to overwhelm the object.

F : Fair condition - The record is cracked, badly warped and will not play through without skipping or repeating. The sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP jacket barely keeps in the disc inside and the inner sleeves (if extant) are fully seam split, crinkled, written upon or otherwise defaced. Unless it is an impossibly rare record, I wouldn’t even bother.
