Description

This is the 1979 MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB audiophile issue of the all-time classic 1970 album titled 'American Beauty' from The Grateful Dead.  It is Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab catalog number MFSL1-014.  Record comes packaged inside the cover in a MFSL dust-free static-free 'Original Master' inner sleeve.
Tracks:
A1 Box Of Rain Bass – Dave Torbert Electric Guitar – Dave Nelson* Written-By – Lesh*, Hunter* 5:16 A2 Friend Of The Devil Mandolin – David Grisman Written-By – Garcia*, Dawson*, Hunter* 3:20 A3 Sugar Magnolia Written-By – Weir*, Hunter* 3:15 A4 Operator Written-By – McKernan* 2:21 A5 Candyman Organ – Howard Wales Piano – Ned Lagin Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter* 6:12 B1 Ripple Mandolin – David Grisman Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter* 4:10 B2 Brokedown Palace Piano – Howard Wales Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter* 4:18 B3 Till The Morning Comes Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter* 3:13 B4 Attics Of My Life Written-By – Garcia*, Hunter* 5:09 B5 Truckin
Organ – Howard Wales Written-By – Weir*, Garcia*, Lesh*, Hunter* 5:09 Condition of record is VG but a really good sounding VG - Record has a few surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play and a couple of tiny pinpoint size surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause slight ticks in a couple of spots - Except for those very few slight ticks and a little widely scattered very light surface noise this records plays loud and clear with the incredible presence you would expect from a MFSL issue.  Play surface also has a couple of slightly light shaded discolored areas.  Condition of cover is also VG with a couple of small splits in the left hand area of the top edge, some contact wear, and some general wear and fraying along the edges and on the corners.  MFSL inner sleeve is in good shape.
This top quality MFSL LP is a bit of an ugly duckling but a strong player - it would be a nice addition to any audiophile, Grateful Dead, or psychedelic rock record collection!  $4.13 SHIPPING via USPS Media Mail.  Shipping to areas outside the U.S. via eBay international shipping.   BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP in the above stated condition if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason.
