This is the UK 1st Press of 'Live/Dead' by The Grateful Dead. This original press is complete with the earliest A2/B1/C1/D1 matrix, orange Warner label and matt EJ Day gatefold sleeve.
The records are in Very Good condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with just a few very light marks and a few hairlines on each side. The album sounds warm and clear with only occasional light background noise. The 1st press orange Warner labels are bright, one side has been written on and there are a couple of stickers. The orange is bold and the text is bright. There is only slight spindle wear.
The EJ Day gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are vivid and the image is sharp. There is some corner, edge and ring wear. The inside images and text are bold and bright.
