Gravy Train---WITH ULTRA RARE PRESS PACK FROM PYE---"Second Birth"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Album In NM Playing/EX Condition On The Dawn Label---A6vG and B6vG From 1973---With Rare Letter From Pye Records Introducing The Band Along With An 8 Page Print Of The Lyrics
This is a UK copy from 1973 in stereo on the Dawn label, cat. no. DNLS.3046 with matrices A6vG and B6vG.
Vinyl: N.MINT. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a great shine and just a few tiny surface marks. It has not been played much and just has 2 light ticks on track 4 side 2. The rest is closer to MINT.
Labels: N.MINT. The labels are in lovely condition with no markings. There is just a little light spindle wear on side 2 and none on side 1.
Sleeve: EX. The gatefold sleeve is in very solid condition with a little edge and corner wear, as shown and there is some marking on the outside of the gatefold. It is a kind of metallic silver and this type of finish is always vulnerable to finger marking, for some reason.
Inserts: This copy comes with 2 ultra rare press inserts. The first is a letter from Pye Records Press Service and this is an introduction/history of the band and the second is a stapled 8 page pack with the typed lyrics of all the songs on the album. This is a very nice added bonus making this copy rarer than normal.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
