Description
The Great !! Society !!: "Someone To Love" / "Free Advice" 1965, USA/Northbeach #1001. Disc is VG with some surface scuffs, plays great with just a bit of background surface noise. Labels show moderate wear, a bit more noticeable on the "Free Advice" side. Well, here's one of the seminal SF garage 45s, significant in that it's Grace Slick's first waxing, and Northbeach Records' first release, and oh, there's also the small matter of it being quite good! The flip has a raga feel and reminds me of The Spike Drivers. The winner of this auction will also receive a nice photocopy of an article on the group from Dec.1965 announcing the release of the 45. This is only the second copy of this 45 I've ever seen, it's rare.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the picture sleeve or Company sleeve to prevent seam splits during shipment.
