Group 1850 continues their psychedelic and mind exploring trip with their third and last studio album. Polyandri was released in 1975 and this album sounds so much like the late 1960's classic psychedelic rock. They haven't changed their musical style which is a good thing because I think their first two albums were both just perfect. This is 100% psychedelic/acid rock with some progressive elements too. Not many bands in the mid 70's played this kind of stuff because psychedelic rock wasn't very popular from the beginning of the 70's onwards.
Polyandri is a powerful record. If you like their first two albums you will enjoy this one too. Even if this is not a total jackpot as their first two albums were this is still close to perfection. A great farewell album by this way too unknown psychedelia group. Psychedelic rock fans should definitely give a try to Polyandri.
