GRUMIAUX / SARTORI: BACH SONATAS – PHILIPS Hi-Fi Stereo
Boxed set of 2-LPs. Philips maroon / silver Hi-Fi stereo labels, catalogue numbers SAL 3487/88 (835-227/28 AY). Six Bach sonatas for violin & clavier (BWV 1014-1019) with Arthur Grumiaux playing a Stradivarius violin and Egida Giordani Sartori playing her own modern Neuport harpsichord.
The illustrated 28-page booklet includes small-scale (pocket score size) images of the scores for each sonata.
The 2 discs are near mint and the booklet is pristine. The box is scuffed on front corners and the top two corners are split. There is a 9cm split on the top rear edge.
