Up for sale is another mega rare Tejano LP; this one by the legendary GRUPO MAZZ on the SANTOS Records label, which was the private label of CARA Records out of San Antonio, TX. This LP was recorded and released in 1978...long before GRUPO MAZZ became famous, and it is without a doubt the most collectible LP by this famous Tejano group. There is no reason to go into great detail regarding who these guys were, except to say that this was the first LP by GRUPO MAZZ, and the selection of songs on this LP shows how truly versatile and talented these guys were! The jacket receives a grade of VG+ due to the bumps on the corners and a bit of loss of paper along the seams, but the seams are intact. The labels receive a grade of NM-, and the printing is pristine...the black letters that appear to be faded in the photos is actually the result of the flash from the camera. The vinyl receives a grade of NM- due to a few minor rub marks and very light superficial scratches. The sound receives a grade of NM...sensational, and I mean sensational sound! This LP could not have been played more than a handful of times, and I can virtually guarantee you that you will not find a cleaner copy of this LP unless it is sealed!
