THE GTO'S - PERMANENT DAMAGE LP (STRAIGHT RECORDS/STS-1059) Stereo
This very rare and much sought after vintage record LP with booklet insert is in excellent near mint condition. I am likely the first person to have played this album. Record shows no signs of having been played and very few signs of handling even upon the closest inspection. Luckily, this record is so obscure and weird that it has been protected from the wear from play and handling that most "normal" records are subjected to by normal people. This record comes with its original booklet and record sleeve. The booklet is in un-read condition and features lyrics to all the songs, extensive liner notes and passages from "The Groupie Papers". Record jacket shows only some expected wear for its age consisting of a minor ring and a small blank white sticker on the back (see pictures). Bid with confidence, this record is definately fit for the fussiest of collectors considering its nearly flawless condition and its scarcity. As you probably know, this album features Frank Zappa and the best incarnation of The Mothers Of Invention along with Jeff Beck and Davy Jones among others. This is a collaboration between the most notorious groupies and their musician friends. I am sad to part with this rarity but you will be glad that I did.
