LP 1. Gulf Coast Blues, Sunnyland LP KS-102 Incredibly rare and excellent Mike Leadbitter field recordings, probably 99 copies released in the early sixties. Raw Lake Charles blues, including D.C. Bender, Rockin' Sidney, Mab el Franklin, Chester Randle and Blue Scotty. Ivory Simeon plays drums on many of the cuts. Most are field recordings by a few were done in Eddie Shuler's studio. The slight white area on the center back seems to be on all copies. The "jacket" consists of a plain white jacket with two pieces of newsprint, one for the front, one for the back that are loose, not glued on to begin with. This is all in a plastic outer baggie that says "Processed and pressed for the publishers by CH Rumble Ltd. Mitcham, Surrey, England that I assume is original. An extremely rare and excellent item. Minimum bid $500.
