Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYLS   EX+ STRONG   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st A1 /B1 /C1/ D1 pressing with the MATT LABELS  - Stored from new this LP SET has seen possibly a handful of careful plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

As all versions - printed in Germany as all 'illusion' vinyls were (the UK were no longer pressing most vinyls by 1990 due to the CD boom)

THIS IS THE CORRECT UK COPY WITH THE STICKERED SLEEVE

This  pressing is a superb vinyl SET which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP SET of this age.

There are some light spider lines around the centre hole, but  no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are some whisp lines, and a couple of light hairlines that do not sound - and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP SET has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves and the off static along the way in a few places -nothing to worry over - NO jumps skips pops or distortion..it sounds like new as it could be!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE LABELS   MINT  FLAT MATT LABELS

THE SLEEVE     EX+

Correct LOW GLOSS SINGLE SLEEVE    - Containing both vinyls and inners.

These sleeves are absolutely impossible to find without bad wear as the vinyl caused so much bother being placed into one single sleeve..most copies we see are torn, rubbed or suffer terrible edge wear.

NOT THIS ONE!!!!  IT'S A  CRACKER!

This is in super condition with hardly any wear at all. The black matt finish 'frame edge' being so hard to keep from wear- HERE IT IS SUPERB.

The edges are all super clean with no white rubbing of any note , just a few light spider lines and there are a couple of dinks on the edge tips top and bottom of three sides.

No powdery white ringwear - some very light ring press bottom front, and all edges are super crisp.

Just the lightest of tip rub &  a couple of  spider lines over the edge of the spine, The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear, just 4 tiny pinch lines!

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

Due to it's rarity, this sleeve really is a find in this condition with both the stickers in place ..so we cannot rate this find high enough!

THE INNER SLEEVES   MINT-

PAPER LYRIC INNERS..NO SPLITS OR DAMAGE..Both vinyls in seperate poly lined inners.

PRESS 10" X 8"  PHOTO   MINT

Original UK photo..immaculate.
