Description
This is an ulta rare 1st volume recording. It is the original Janus recording (recorded in 1949) of GI Gurdjieffs Improvisations. The music is dark, sparse and haunting - and influenced progressive rock bands such as King Crimson. George Gurdjieff was an artist, thinker and composer - his ideas have influenced many.

GRADING:
Grading is done visually under a strong light,unless otherwise noted. We try to grade honestly and fairly. Our vinyl grading is based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
NM: This is our highest grading. Record should look unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks. A near perfect record. This is a rare grade.
VG++: Near close to NM, Maybe some slight scuffs, that do not sound, no scratches or skips
VG+: Record may have a few minor marks or surface scuffs. Still nice record. Most common grade.
VG: Record will have light scratches, noticeable marks, and surface noise may be apparent. There's some flaws to this record.
VG-/G: This record is rough, but rare or desirable enough to list anyway
