Description
UFO by GURU GURU up for auction. Originally released in 1970 on the OHR label. This is catalog number OMM 556 005, making it the 6th release by OHR and GURU GURU's debut. UFO features the classic GURU GURU lineup of MANI NEUMEIER, ULI TREPTE & AX GENRICH. JULIAN COPE rates UFO as one of the Top 50 KRAUTROCK records of all time.
LP appears to be in VG condition (I no longer have a turntable so grading is visual and conservative). There is a nick on Side Two, otherwise the vinyl looks to be in wonderful shape. Cover and gatefold are VG. There is some crimping on the corners and what appears to be a little glue residue from a price sticker on the back next to the word UFO. There is also a tiny bit of the lamination coming off on the spine. Additionally, there is some ring wear inside the gatefold. Overall, I'd say this is in nice shape for a 42 year old record and I think you will be pleased with your purchase.
Tracks:
Seite 1: Stone In Girl Call Next Time See You At The Dalai Lhama
Seite 2: Ufo Der LSD-Marsch
A must have for the GURU GURU completist. A true KRAUROCK KLASSISCHE!
LP is sold as is. Paypal only, please.
International buyers please note that there is a $7.50 packaging/handling fee.
