Galadriel ITA Reissue ST LP EX 2001 Akarma AK158 Aussie Prog Rock


Italian Reissue LP released in 2001 on Akarma Records. Cat: AK158. Comes in heavy weight lightly textured gatefold sleeve.

 Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward on listing them over the next few months.
   Despite their musical excellence, Sydney band Galadriel never achieved any commercial success during their short career, and they were forgotten for many years. Ironically, their eclectic and ultra-rare 1971 LP has now became one of the most collectible artefacts of Australian '70s progressive rock and they are now internationally known, thanks the burgeoning worldwide interest in Australian music of the 60s and 70s.

 Tracks : Amble on/ Such a fool/ Girl of seventeen/ She left her lover at home/ Working/ Standing in the rain/ Mind games/ lady was a thief/ One day to paradise/ Things to come.
  There are a few light light spindle marks on labels. Records have a few light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Heavy weight, lightly textured gatefold sleeve is in NEar MInt condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
