Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies, I'm in the process of selling off the majority of my record collection to finance the ongoing restoration of a classic car...hopefully without going bankrupt! So please check back often, as I'll be listing hundreds of LPs (and a few singles) over the next few months.

Anyway, let's continue with this one by Alternative Learning (ALRN) Self Titled Debut EP released by Rational Records in 1979 (RAT 001 Stereo) This EP comes in its original fold open picture sleeve with 4 inserts

Extremely hard to find debut release by Scott Miller's first band Alternative Learning. Band lineup on these recordings was Scott Miller, Jozef Becker and Scott Gallawa. This EP was followed in 1981 by the band's Painted Windows LP (with a different lineup) before Miller formed Game Theory. If you're reading this listing, I assume you are already familiar with Game Theory's incredible recordings...if not, do yourself a favor and pick them up!

The EP contains the following tracks:

1. Green Card (Miller) 2:49
2. What's The Matter (Miller) 3:44
3. Gumby's In A Coma (Gallawa) 2:16
4. When She's Alone (Miller) 3:30

Both the record and sleeve are in excellent condition. The record has no marks and looks unplayed. The sleeve has very light wear but no writing, rips, tears, splits or other problems.

I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.

I am a very picky record collector and have been let down many times buying a record that was graded VG++ or NM here on eBay and other mail order services that were pretty beat up...and I'm sure that has happened to you too!

Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including delivery confirmation.

Shipping to Canada is $10.00 and elsewhere in the world is $14.00

I do combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible.
