Description

Game Theory – "The Big Shot Chronicles” Enigma ST-73210 Original 1986 Promo copy - sealed.
Great Indie Power Pop similar to Big Star, and tough to find.
The cover grades VG+ with some corner dings and a corner diagonal scratch where the shrink was cut. There is a promo stamp in the upper right corner as well. There is about a 4” opening in the shrink, and an insert can be seen inside. All seams and spine are intact. The hype sticker is also attached and intact.
Shipping is $4.00 and I will combine for multiple LP's.
I am an experienced record collector, and I use the following grading guidelines:
Sealed: Factory sealed, never opened

Mint (M): I don’t use this grade

Near Mint (NM or M-): Near perfect record and cover. No visible flaws or defects. No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Only a very small number of minor flaws present (ex. a couple of faint hairlines, a light scuff). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume. Cover shows no significant ring wear, nor seam splits.

Very Good Plus (VG+): More slight signs of wear but still an excellent condition record that plays well. Any surface noise is very minimal and the record is still an enjoyable listen. No groove wear. Cover may show minor defects including very light ring wear.

Very Good (VG): More obvious wear. Surface noise evident on playing, especially in soft passages, and during a song's intro and fade but never overpowers the music. Ring wear and other defects evident.

Good (G): Worn. Significant surface noise throughout, scratches that produce noise, but will play through without skipping.

Poor (P), or Fair (F): Very worn, it may skip. Still not trash, but perhaps a placeholder for your collection

All records (except those sealed) are turntable tested to ensure there are no warps or serious off-center issues. Play grades are typically spot checks to listen for noise in quieter spots and/or groove wear, done with a VPI Classic turntable with an AT150MLX cartridge.
