A massive double disc packed with 33 tracks--a few new cuts, many old faves, and some rare B-sides--Full Clip presents a magnificent overview of the group's impressive 10-year sonic canon. Gang Starr standards spanning the likes of "Manifest" (from their 1989 debut, No More Mr. Nice Guy), to the anti stick-up kid rhetoric of "Just to Get a Rep" (off of 1991's Step in the Arena), to "Soliloquy of Chaos", their rapturous criticism of violence at rap shows (culled from 1992's Daily Operation), as well as "Code of the Streets" and "Mass Appeal" (both taken from 1994's Hard to Earn), are all represented in full. Additionally, there are plenty of tasty B-sides like "Credit Is Due" and "The ? Remains", tucked in alongside soundtrack contributions like the pioneering jazz/hip-hop jammie "Jazz Thing" from Spike Lee's Mo' Better Blues.

Record grading guide

Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.

Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.

Excellent (E) – Very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or some small signs of use generally. Has been played.

Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.

Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.

Good Plus (G+) like above but further wear. More visible usage. Some audible static clicks and more visible scratches.
