Description
Unbelievably rare surf-rock LP by the Hopi Klansmen, four full-blooded Hopi Indian kids from Polacca, Arizona, who formed the group at boarding school in 1959, and then went to Phoenix Indian High School together. Band member Ivan Sidney later had a brief stint as the Hopi Tribes Chairman. This LP is featured in the Acid Archives book of rare garage and psych LPs, and features some great rock and surf covers. The reunited band still performs today as Hopi Clansmen. This is a holy grail of garage and surf-rock collecting that never shows up for sale!

GRADING SCALE NM | EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G
NM: Like new.
EX: A few small paper scuffs only, probably played a few times, under regular light will look like new.
VG+: Will likely have a good amount of light scuffs or marks, and maybe some very light scratches. Likely to have a few brief moments of surface noise, light pops or ticks every so often. Not a perfect record, but a very clean one that many consider acceptable.
VG: Record will have many marks, mostly light, but expect some scratches and under regular light will show obvious signs of wear. Record will play with some surface noise, ticks, pops, etc. but should not overwhelm the music. Buy this record expecting it to not look great, but should play satisfactory and will still be enjoyable to listen to for casual listening/DJing.
VG-: Record will have scratches, tons of marks, scuffing, and obvious signs of wear. Sometimes they will play much better than they look, but expect surface noise, ticks, pops, etc. Generally a record that will be something you may want to upgrade in the future, if you are serious about condition, but usually a decent copy for casual listening or DJing.
G: Visually bad. Scuffs, scratches, marks, groove wear. I will generally play grade this record and list how it plays, though some additional skips or jumps might be found. Will play decently at times.
