Description
All of the records listed in this week's auction stem from one single collection that was assembled between the mid 50s and the late 80s. The pre-owner was a dedicated collector and music-lover who apparently treated his LPs with the utmost caution and respect.
As a consequence almost all LPs on offer appear to be in MINT rather than NM condition. Even the very old mono-pressings from the 50s I offer look and sound incredibly well preserved.
I will, however, use NM as the highest grade for any of these beauties, although you can consider the majority of them to be looking like unplayed discs.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
Dust on records will generally not influence my gradings but if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a professional cleaning and playgrade them to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.

I have just realized that there is a mistake in the description of the box. This is not a massive linen box, of course, but a typical late 80s laminated cardboard-box. I took my description of an early Richter-DGG-set as a template for this and forgot to adjust it properly afterwards (this only goes for the material the box is made of, not its condition nor that of the records or the booklet)
Although I very much expect anyone interested in this set will know this either way, I thought this clarification might be helpful for those who don't. Thanks!
