Having to sell my prized possessions, so roll up, eyes down and here we go…
I got this as part of a bundle which was a thankyou for some work that I undertook.. if you look at the rest of the records I’m selling, you’ll be able to work out who I did it for…..maybe the last couple of images may spill the beans…
This is a 40+ year old pressing of Telekon. But it’s the dark red translucent vinyl version complete with the free single, also dark red translucent , and the merchandise flyer included with the sale of the album, yes, the one that Miles Kendrick would have added into the mix, or pressed into your hand as you left the gig.
It has a raised inner and outer edge to the disc, which, as an engineer, leads me to believe that the translucence was due to the press making the disc too thin.. but that’s only my opinion

The outer sleeve is a bit shabby as shown in the images, the discs, although marked from a couple of months of being carted from gig to gig before being stuck in a lockup for 40 years, remain unplayed, to this day unplayed, so don’t know if they will play… there is a ‘film’ of ‘age’ over them.
I know nothing about restoration of old record, but you do, so a light wipe may be all that is needed.
The free single has a badly off registered label, but that only adds to the charm.
They look great, but I have no way of playing them other than an old ‘Gramaphone’ that would ruin them
