Gene Ammons All Stars (Sextet) 10-Inch LP Prestige LP 211 1st Pressing 1954 VG  

This clean 10-inch record is nice and glossy with light scratches that are heard as subtle, momentary clicks at very low volume on brief sections of the record, a clean, fully intact label, a poor jacket that's split stained and taped and no sleeve. The record plays great on a Rega RP1 turntable and is carefully graded a VG (the clicks are truly inoffensive and many would give this a VG+) using Goldmine standards. What a sextet - Ammons, Lou Donaldson, Art Farmer, Freddie Redd, Addison Farmer and Kenny Clarke! One of a number of jazz, folk and blues records currently at auction and part of a large collection with examples to be listed weekly until gone. Records will be shipped removed from jackets in separate bubble envelopes and corrugated record boxes.
