This is the rare original promo copy of Gene Ammons “Soulful Saxophone” on Chess 1442. The white-label record is pressed on multi-colored vinyl – green, blue, and red – and appears to be MINT, unplayed, with a high luster. The cover is bright and clean throughout, with “D.J. Copies” stamped on the back; 3” split at the center of the top seam, 1 ½” split at the center of the bottom seam. Personnel include Matthew Gee, Bill Massey, Junior Mance, and Gene Wright.
