Gene Chandler "The Duke Of Earl"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Vee Jay 1040 from 1962. This is a mono copy of his first album. The record number on the cover is LP-1040. The record number on the label is VJLP 1040. So, according to the price guide this is a second pressing. The vinyl is non-flexible. This is good music and great vocals.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M / Record is M
The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The cover is mint with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve. The hand etched matrix numbers are : Side 1 : XCTV 8239-1KC 62-23242 and Side 2 : XCTV 82330-1KB 62-2325.
The songs are : Duke Of Earl, Stand By Me, Festival Of Love, Daddy's Home, I Wake Up Crying, Turn On Your Love Light, Nite Owl, I'll Follow You, Big Lie, Kissin' In The Kitchen, So Many Ways, and Lonely Island.

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch cardboard (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again. Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. You can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail. Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International. I will remove the record from the cover when I mail it. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. And I will let you know when I receive your payment and when I have mailed your record. This record is from a no smoking, no pets home.
