Description
Co-Day (?). No Catalog number on label. According to the dead wax, "Torchered Man" is the A side: RITE 572 12113 A and "Save It" is the B: RITE 572 11214 B. "Co-day" is also written in a signature style in both sides of the deadwax. I' guessing that this is an OHIO label as Gene Sisco's other records (on Dess, Hilltop, B&4, etc.) came from Columbus OH, although I didn't find Co-Day in the RITE database. There's a lot of very cool Sisco tunes on the you-know-who Tube. As for "D. Bauman", I'm also guessing that he's the co-writer of the two sides and that the artist credit should read "Gene Sisco & Decons (Deacons)". The disc is scratchy and the highs are raggedy....labels are in good condition with some marks on side two. You can hear a sound sample from both sides of the record by clicking here:
