Very Rare Unreleased Acetate of Gene & the Cossacks 1960's twangy beat group, from Hertfordshire. Played alongside The Who, Small Faces, Sonny Boy Williamson etc. on various occasions. Reportedly won a prize for beating the Small Faces in a Battle of the Bands Contesst
4 track Acetate on the Dubreq Studios Label Tracks: It's the Way my Hearts wants to be / All of me / Everybody Loves a Lover / Besame Mucho
Visually under very bright light the vinyl has loads of marks, scratches scuffs, and white mildew? marks (VISUALLY POOR). Has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine and through my system Plays through ok with no skips or sticks, twangy Beat 4 track EP. There is regular loud crackle/ surface distortion throughout, and some ticks and clicks (some repeating clicks) here and there. Appears to have a slight edge warp but this doesn’t affect the audio. Listenable but a collection filler more for the novelty and rarity factor. May benefit from further cleaning, Audio Overall FAIR
Labels are ok, some light dirtying and spindle wear, VG
