Description
Monaural original 1956 Capitol turquoise label first LP from Gene Vincent And His Blue Caps “Bluejean Bop!” (Capitol T 764). This LP is pure 1950s rockabilly with an interesting mix of standards and originals.
The tracklist is: Blue jean Bop/Jezebel/Who Slapped John?/Ain’t She Sweet/I Flipped/Waltz Of The Wind/Jump Back, Honey, Jump Back/That Old Gang Of Mine/Jumps, Giggles And Shouts/Up A Lazy River/Bop Street/Peg O’ My Heart.
The LP retains most of the original gloss with no major scratches or other major defects. I was very pleasantly surprised how well it played in spite of quite a few sleeve scuffs and superficial scratches. You should expect some surface noise but nothing at all overwhelming. The cover is in beautiful condition with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts and just some light wear noted.
