Record is in great shape, Cardboard sleeve is damaged.  No scratches or other defects on the tracks.  Label is stained.  Played prior to listing and plays perfectly.

Includes a Country Song Roundup newspaper article (1956?) about Gene Vincent.  Photos of Vincent with manager William Davis, Country Music DJ Eddie Hill.  Article is titled Gene Vincent: The Be Bop a Lula Kid.  It dubs Vincent as a "fine Country style Rock 'n' Roll artist" who will "grace the Folk music scene for a good long time to come."

Many other photos of that years' Country Music DJ convention include personalities of the day such as Jimmie Rodgers Snow, Curtis Gordon, Chuck Thompson, Duncan Renaldo, Martha Carson, Hubert Long.  Also included in these newspaper pages are an article about and photo of Minnie Pearl, and song lyrics by Elvis Presley / Vera Matson (Love Me Tender), Hank Thompson & Charlie Mills (I'll Take My Chances With Somebody New) and Rusty Kershaw & Doug Kershaw (Mister Love).  The newspaper article shows its age with some staining.

Please pay within 5 days of auction close.  If you must take longer due to special circumstances please notify us promptly.  We will consider these situations on a case-by-case basis.  If payment is not received within 5 days of auction close, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and relist the item.  PayPal is our preferred method of payment, but we will also accept Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Personal Checks.  Allow sufficient time for payment to clear before we ship.  Clearing may take up to 10 days, and we will ship as soon as possible after cleared payment, usually within 2 business days.   When paying via US mail, please note the item number on your payment, and include a copy of your invoice.

For shipments outside the contiguous 48 States, including international, there may be extra cost, so please contact us for shipping cost and include your zip/postal code.  If you buy more than one item, we can ship it all together to save you money and us hassle. We charge a small handling & packing fee to help defray the costs of packing supplies.  We will notify you when your item ships; we make every effort to ship within the next 2 business days after payment has been received/cleared.
