Description

A fabulous set of items for a Gene Vincent fan/collector. I purchased these items 15 years ago as an investment. The records themselves are in very good condition and have never been played by myself. The record box and sleeves have a little wear. The books are in general in very good clean condition. The package is comprised as follows;

1) Rare Capitol French release 4 box set c/w 24 page black and white booklet containing many great photographs. Released 1977, 48 tracks from 1956 to 1961. C 154-85071/2/3/4

2) 1983 Magnum Force LP MFLP-1.023 containing various radio interviews, live recordings with the Commander Cody Band and a version of Be-Bop-A-Lula recorded with The Puppets in July 1967.

3) A 45 double sided single of radio interviews between Gene and Jim Pewter in April 1968 recorded at Playground Studio Los Angeles.

4) A 50 page discography published 1992 by Derek Henderson.

5) A 262 page biography "The Day The World Turned Blue" by Britt Hagarty published in 1984

6) A truly wonderful book, 592 pages "The Story Behind His Songs" 1992 by Thierry Liesenfeld. This contains colour photographs on the front and back covers, a complete account of the recording sessions, describes in detail the 200 songs he recorded, with all information known about them and his discography. There are also many black and white pictures.
