TAKRL 1945
Vinyl NM / Cover NM / Insert NM
This is a stunning copy of a classic TAKRL release; not only still in the (opened) shrinkwrap, but in utterly fabulous condition. An early pressing too as denoted by the TAKRL matrix number.
Everything is Near Mint about this LP - the vinyl has a lovely clear shine, the paper insert is virtually flawless, just a slight mis-stamp when it was initially printed, but nothing that detracts in any way. The plain white cover is in great shape and even the shrinkwrap is fine apart from where I opened it!!
The record is well protected in a plain white and lined inner bag. As with most of my recent LPs, I've played this only the once and stored it carefully since then. I'm pruning down my LP collection and this has to go - ideally to a good home!
This was recorded at the LA Shrine Auditorium in 1975, Peter Gabriel's swansong with the band and features the following tracks:-
Watcher of the Skies, Lilywhite Lilith, The Waiting Room, Anyway, It, The Musical Box, Happy The Man and Twilight Alehouse.
The last two tracks on the LP are studio material and for many years this LP was one of the few places you could hear Twilight Alehouse.
I only ever use high quality vinyl mailers, with an extra internal cardboard stiffener as standard. If posting overseas, I will only ever use full tracking, so please bear this in mind ahead of bidding. This is to protect YOUR investment, especially if an item achieves a significant final bid, and means your purchase is fully covered, including the postage amount too. Needless to say, it also means that I am covered too.
