Genesis Selling England By The Pound Vinyl 1st Press CAS1074 "PECKO PORKY RAY"

  • Matrix / Runout (Side A (variant 1)): PORKY-RAY CAS 1074 A-1U
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B (variant 1)): PECKO CAS 1074 B-2U

Very first UK Issue with the "PORKY RAY" and "PECKO" engravings on the runout and on nice heavy vinyl.
Comes complete with dark green cardboard lyric sheet in excellent condition
Sleeve is also very good with just a bit of creasing on one corner and a couple of small marks on the rear.
The album plays well with no skips jumps or skips. Some surface noise at quieter passages but not excessive in my view.

I do not use the Record Collector grades for my vinyl sales.

 

All albums for sale are from my own collection and have not been played for some time. I have decided to cut down to free up space at home.

 

I purchased virtually all of these new, mostly in the year of release and as was my habit back then, I would record them onto cassette tape for playing in my car. 

 

This means many of them have been played once and been in the cupboard for 40+ years!

 

I am only selling albums I personally consider to be in acceptable condition but if you are a serious collector where any slight defect means a lot to you please contact me before buying and I can supply further details or photos. Look at the photos carefully and judge the condition on those. I’d be happy to supply more info/pictures if desired.

 

All albums will be packed in sturdy album mailing sleeves.

In the unlikely event of a parcel going missing in the post, it will be the buyer’s responsibility to claim from the post office.
