Description
This LP is fast becoming a holy grail for any Genesis fan or simply vinyl collector. This is the first issue of this milestone. UK pressing released in 1970 CAS 1020. Matrix A-2U and B-2U. Textured Ernest J Day gatefold sleeve with B&C credits. Original grey paper insert present.
Sleeve is EX : very well cared of copy, almost nothing to say very light corner and edge wear.
LP is VG- : Some rare and superficial hairlines only. Looks EX- (so are the label - light spindle wear) The problem is somewhere else. Like my Audience House on the Hill, the record has, in its long life, been played with a bad stylus causing damage to the groove. It plays with a very light background noise but the quality of the sound itself has been deteriorated. Still enjoyable but not the mint copy you dream of. Fair grading only ! Play graded item.
