Progressive Delight!!!!The second Genesis album again hardly sold at all and Genesis remained an underground force to be reckoned with. The original Pink scroll label has now become a bit of an artefact. Most copies of this album were subsequently sold on the mad hatter label after the breakthrough Foxtrot album came out.

I have played this twice in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is hardly any background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this vinyl!!! What can I say ...... an absolute classic and went totally under the radar when first issued!!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Vinyl: VG+!!! This has a few hairlines and minor scuffs but fully retains its glossy appearance. On the track Stagnation it has a mini skip, it happens so quick you would hardly notice it if not paying particular attention but there it is. There is no crackle of any mention and any static is very limited.
Gatefold sleeve: EX. Beautiful without any creases. This is the fully textured heavy original sleeve. One small seamsplit to the bottom not immediately apparent. Totally unmarked inside and out, rare like this!!! No writing on the spine, indicating THE VERY FIRST SLEEVE. The inside gatefold is ALSO fully textured, only the very first batch had this feature! A beautiful crisp opening and only has minor mini corner "bumps".
This also has a lyric insert sheet!!!
