Description

Gennett 5565  ... 10-inch 78-rpm jazz  record Tia Juana /  Big Boy Wolverine Orchestra
Searched the web and couldn't find the last time a copy of this surfaced. Beiderbecke's last recordings with the Wolverine Orchestra.

Not tested, but looks like it would sound great: Lots of original shine, the intro and exit passages look very clean,
very little greying, light scuffs.
NOTE:  At about 12 o'clock there *might* be a pressure hairline.
As if made by holding the disc unsupported on the edge.
The area is straight and true: the disc feels solid.  Tapping its also sounded solid.
So whatever I see is probably not sounding.
I tried to photograph it, but it is too faint and didn't show.
Anyway, I'd suggest bidding as if there is a pressure hairline --
and if i'm wrong, you'll have quite a bargain!

The disc otherwise looks to be in near Excellent to Excellent condition.
If I've missed something else, I'll make it right!

Old 78-rpm records are fragile and will be properly sleeved,
protectively sandwiched, padded, and packed for

Brought the Wolverine disc into the brightest room in the house and have attached two photos of the pressure hairline defect.  These photos are also added to the gallery.
