Description
Title: Playing The Foole A Stake In The Heart The 1975 American Tour
Artist: Gentle Giant
Catalog: USA Takrl 1943
Jacket: Near Mint, in fact, this LP was in a plain white jacket with a photo copy of whatever artwork, tracks and personnel info taped to it. I have cut the photo copy sheet off the VG+ original and replaced with a brand new plain white outer sleeve and inner sleeve, put in a polybag with the art sheet simply inserted inside the polybag. There is still the original scotch tape parts on the edges of the art. The new owner can re-attach if desired.
LP: Visual VG+, only a few light spindle marks and a light mark (looks to be from stamper release) that does not sound. The LP could easily pass for near mint but I stay on the conservative side. When you see it you will think I am crazy but just look at my feedback. The LP plays near mint with no surface noise, pops, crackle or otherwise which was quite amazing to me considering the source of this pressing. Tracks include Proclamation, Funny Ways, Experience, So Sincere, The Advent Of Panurge, Mister Class And Quality and The Power And The Glory. The labels on this LP are plain mustard yellow color with Side One and Side Two marked in typewritter style font.
Notes: This is the recording that inspired the title for the Capitol LP release Playing The Fool Live. Not sure where these recordings are from but they are mentioned on the official Gentle Giant website with that info.
