Genuine 1975 John Lennon Autograph - Signed ROCK 'N' ROLL Vinyl Record LP with the original picture that my uncle took of John Lennon just before he signed it!
Signed by John Lennon in Philadelphia, PA 1975, while outside of WFIL Radio to promote a fundraiser for local charities.
I was given this from my late uncle who was living in Philly at the time, and the signature he received that day is rather unique, in that the lp record still had the shrink wrap on it, and ballpoint pens do not write well on it. As a result, hardly any of the signature ink made it onto the shrink wrap, but a clear impression of John Lennon's signature is forever imprinted onto the back of the lp.
Condition of it all is very good. Some wear and a small tear along one seam of the shrink wrap. The album cover has a hole punch in one corner that was done by the distributor, and it has a few creases towards the corners and the opening has some wear from the record being removed and replaced, however, the lp itself is in excellent/nm condition, as I could not find a scratch on it. The photo is quite faded but in very good condition.
