Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner's estate whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 50' and 60's. Most of the LPs which remained were in excellent condition and carefully stored.
All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All vinyl cleaned with Spin Clean Washer System.
George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess - Original Press Deep Groove Mono 3XLP
Original 1956 deep-groove mono 3XLP in EX condition. May have been played once or twice prior based on limited spindle marks. Play tested overall excellent sound quality with occasional tick or pop. VG+ box cover includes authentic red bandana and has light storage wear. Also includes booklet detailing artists, cast, background and photos. Artists include a who's who of top singers and players of the era (see photo). Includes new sleeves and original wax paper sleeves.
