George Harmonica Smith LP Arkansas Trap (Deram SML1082 UK 1971) NM/EX
On Deram (Cat: SML1082) UK Vinyl LP released in 1971.
The record was play-graded & plays with no sound imperfections: no crackles or clicks, no jumping or sticking. Just a note that between track1 & track 2 on side A, and between track 5 & track 6 on side B, there is no interval, giving the impression that the record has jumped. I have replayed and checked the surface of the record in these areas, and could detect no scratches, marks or distortion of the record. Also track 6 on side B ends abruptly. I am guessing that this all adds up to the sound production making no allowances for gaps between tracks, or fading-out of tracks. The record is therefore graded NEAR MINT. The cover has very few minor crease marks, and is graded EXCELLENT. See my descriptions below.

The MacNeill Press cover has a laminated front & matt rear. The front has one 2-inch crease near the lower edge. Otherwise a total of just a handful of short hairline creases at the other edges completes the description of the front surface. The rear has some creasing at the lower open edge corner – see photo. A great cover graded EXCELLENT.

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer. Records are placed in a new white polythene-lined inner sleeve, and packed separately from the record company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record(s) and cover are then placed in a pvc sleeve for extra protection.
