GEORGE HARRISON
ALL THINGS MUST PASS This the rare original UK pressing on Apple Records. We all know what a masterpiece this triple-disc classic is, but only a few people know a TRUE first pressing when they see one. Although a copy with early matrixes is bound to be an early copy, the true first press (i.e. not a second or third pressing which has been wrongly sold as a first, which is common) has one give away: Eric Clapton, who plays on a number of the tracks is not credited on the cover. Eric Clapton's credit is missing here, meaning that this is a true first pressing and thus very rare. All three Vinyls are in lovely, strong EX Condition - Visually graded under a strong, all-revealing light they all have nice, bright sheen. There are a couple of minor light scuffs or marks, and some super light sleeve removal marks but nothing that can be felt or would affect play in the slightest.
The Inner sleeves are in nice, VG+ condition. They all have light creases, minor ring wear and the odd split at the opening but are all also very solid and overall in nice condition.
The super rare poster, which only came with early copies (It's easy to see why - it's massive!) is in EX- condition. There is some minor blackening to the white side of the poster and a very minor seam split at the top which has been subtly selotaped Over all a very nice example of this hard-to-find poster.
The Sleeve/Box is in Good- condition. Unfortunately at some point in it's 42 year life some mould has been able to get to it, and although t is well and truly dry now and will not in any way spread, it has left the cover with some damage. The good new is it's a lot better than it could be. The mould has only got to a relatively small area above the album title (See picture two) and although that area does look quite worn there, the rest of the front cover is really pretty good. If the mould wasn't there I'd rate it as a nice VG+. Little bit of edge wear and the top left hand corner is coming away a little but otherwise actually rather good, condition wise. The back cover has also received a little mould damage however this is much less severe and still a good back cover. Please bear in mind I visually grade records and that there may be some crackling, especially on vintage records, but this will be down to these albums having been carefully stored in my collection and not having been played for years and will go away after a few plays.
