On offer here is a First Press UK box set copy of All Things Must Pass by George Harrison, released on theApple label in 1971, catalogue number STCH 639.
When this was released, a small number were released as a UK made box set, then quickly moved to a US made box. This is a UK copy so one of a very limited run and much sought after.
The clamshell box has the now iconic picture of George sitting in his garden with his Gnomes which is pasted on the front of the box.
Musicians include Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Billy Preston, Gary Brooker, Dave Mason, Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker.
The black box is in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, the spine has gold lettering with very little wear. One of the corners is split but could be invisibly repaired, I will leave this judgement to the next owner.
The inside of the box, which is Orange with the songs and credits on the left side is in Near Mint condition and looks fantastic. At the bottom of the credits is the all important "MADE AND PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" On the right side the Orange removeable card is pristine.
The three albums come in textured paper covers, one Blue, one Grey and one a Greeny Yellow. All the covers are Excellent but all are split. again these could be repaired but I have left them alone.
The albums consist of two studio albums with songs that are I'm sure well known such as My Sweet Lord, Wah Wah, what Is Life, All Things Must Pass and many more. The third album is "Apple Jam" which was recorded during the making of the album.
All the vinyl is in visually Excellent Plus condition, and all retain a bright shine to all sides. the labels are in similar condition.
Finally the giant poster of George is in Near Mint condition.
This album is difficult to find in anything aproaching Excellent condition and is often without some of the contents, and is usually the US box version, this is a rare copy being the original UK box.
