...TRUE 1ST UK PRESS VINYL SET IN THE VERY 1ST UK BOX!!
The very very first UK printed boxes had a few distinctions that separate them from later pressings.
Firstly the box itself is wider, at about 2cm.
The inside is orange and refers to Made in Gt Britain.
One major difference is the material the outer box is made out of – The very very first presses had a thick almost leathery effect rather than the later smoother ones.
The bottom of the box is CARDBOARD not orange!!
Finally, the very first presses came with a super super rare white spacer!!
These are all signs for the earliest of UK manufactured boxes, which were very quickly changed to the box set you see all over eBay!!
The vinyls are all 1st UK pressings with the -1U endings and all labels 'emit the ‘ESSEX INT.' and 'MECOLICO BIEM’ logos!!
All inner sleeves are fully one colour!! Not white on the inside!!
Along with really low stampers, this is a true rarity!!

The original 1str press outer box is in great condition with no rips, tears or writing at all!! There is only very minimal wear to the rear and some mild signs of age on the front, with a little discolouring. The box lid is still perfectly attached to the box and has not come away at all!! There is no crushing to the box at all, as you often see! The inside of the box with the credits and cardboard bottom are in near pristine condition! Excellent -
Inner Sleeves
The original 1st printed inner sleeves are in fantastic condition, with no writing, stains or signs of age at all really. They have a little seam split at the bottom edges, but still hold the record perfectly, and if it weren’t for that would be mint. There are no signs of discolouring or even creasing! Excellent
The original and very RARE white spacer is in near mint condition and looks brand new!!
Labels
Really nice! No rips, tear or stains. Under a strong halogen bulb, maybe one minor hairline spindle can be seen, but very minimal. It’s clear to see these records have hardly been played! No writing at all! Nr Mint
Vinyl Visual
The records look great! They still retain their beautiful lustre and shine! There are no nasty scratches or evidence of being over played! Under a halogen bulb, some mild hairlines can be seen, but none that can be felt or effect playback!! I reckon these records have only been played a number of times!! Astounding for a record that is over 45 years old!! Excellent
Vinyl Audio
The records play through beautifully, with not one pop!! There are no skips, jumps or sticking at all! There is no warping at all. A little static between songs, but that’s minor. A really strong nice sharp audio throughout, punchy and without any distortion!! Excellent +

So there we have it, a stunning and super rare fully 1st UK pressing of the rare and scarce All Things Must Pass with 1st press spacer and impossible to find Cardboard bottom box!!
