Description

NEW SEALED  "promo" copy of
The Concert for George - ( 4 LP set )
Free Media Mail shipping to the continental US !
Please note,  This copy has a not for sale sticker over the bar code.( see photo ) Otherwise, I believe it is the exactly the same as the commercially sold version  ( ie,  I do not believe the LPs are white label promos ).
Additionally , as most collectors are aware, promo copies are often times pulled  from the initial  / earliest pressings in a run and have the potential to sound better  than later pressing made from the same stampers
On November 29, 2002, one year after the passing of George Harrison, Olivia Harrison and longtime friend Eric Clapton organized a performance tribute in his honor. Held at London's Royal Albert Hall, the momentous evening featured George's songs, and music he loved, performed by a lineup that included Clapton, Jools Holland, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Monty Python, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Ringo Starr, Dhani Harrison and many more.

Slipcase box , 4-LPs on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, in single jackets, and a 12 x 12 booklet. This set contains all the concert performances, and features a special mandala-design etched on the B-side ofdisc 4 (side 8). This is the first time that all songs from the performance have been available on vinyl!
