Description

Here we have Victor Purple Label #60044 recorded and released in February, 1911.  Single sided. 78 RPM "I'm Mighty Glad I'm Living, Thats All!" Historically, this is a very important and desirable record.  George M. Cohan was born in 1878 and he died in 1942.  He was known as the father of American Musical comedy and the man who owned Broadway.  From 1904 to 1920 he produced fifty musicals.  This particular record is over 106 years old, and it is in surprisingly nice condition.  I played it on my Victrola XVI and it was very enjoyable to listen to.  I never grade a record as excellent, but it certainly is VG+ with a few minor scuffs.  It will be shipped in a re-useable cardboard box.  Accordingly the shipping cost is $9.75.  I know you will be happy with this record.
